Yes, it's now official and real! ADAMCON 09 is off the ground and running! The 9th International Coleco ADAM Computer Convention will be held in Kentwood, Michigan (a close suburb of Grand Rapids) from Thursday, AUGUST 14 through Sunday, AUGUST 18, 1997 at the Best Western Midway Motor Hotel. The hotel has an in-house restaurant (Hoffman House) and an indoor swimming pool/lounge area under a glass atrium dome. The hotel is located within 5 miles of the Kent County International Airport, across the street from a Target strip mall, within 1 mile of Grand Rapids' 2 major enclosed malls, within 2-3 blocks of many various restaurants ranging from Wendy's to Red Lobster or Olive Garden, and 500 feet from AJ's water slide park.

The convention package and cost are comparable to past conventions, with full delegate rate set at $265.00 U.S. The full-package price includes the room, breakfast, lunch, banquet, and all sessions.
